You take a chunk of hair, however much or little you want for dread size, make sure its fully seperated form any stray hairs, back comb it, try to make to consistently knotted, and then you twist it tightly and seal it with heat, i use a wet rag and a hair straightener or iron. it also depends on the type of plastic its made from, so do a test dread first, cause some wont seal together..
me too. be preapared if the wig isnt very full you may see netting, but you can order hair online and add it into the balder spots. the hair generally used for dread extension is call jumbo braid kanekalon, if you have a wig and its not long enough to dread you could make dread extentions and put them in, its usually like 4 dollars a pack, and a pack makes about 8 dreads depending on size.
